School For Educational Enrichment

Course Information

Tutoring
We offer tutoring for elementary, middle and high school students for any skill or subject. All classes are taught with a 1:1 student-teacher ratio. For elementary students, School for Educational Enrichment has a one-on-one program of 24 hours of instruction in Reading, English, and Math taught by an experienced teacher. Cost is $750. SEE requires the purchase of a minimum block of 24 two-hour sessions to ensure the quality and effectiveness of its program. All programs have open enrollment. The teachers are trained in SEE's teaching methodology.
A pre and post test will allow you to measure your child's progress.
Tutoring for adults is available in English, foreign languages and college and vocational courses, including computers.

Courses for Credit
All high school courses are designed according to the required curriculum. Each course is taught on a one-to-one basis. Students can complete a full semester course in approximately twenty-four, two-hour sessions plus testing. Classes may start at any time in order to accommodate the student's schedule. In addition to teaching course content, SEE teachers re-enforce good organizational and study skills for each subject taught. Credits and grades are then sent back to the student's home school for inclusion on the regular transcript. The block of twenty-four hours costs $750 for each semester (0.5 credit). Students taking Math, foreign languages or Science at SEE for the first time may be required to take a placement test.

Distance Learning
SEE has developed a series of full course instruction on Multimedia CD-ROMs. Courses include high school and middle school math, science, writing, economics, and accounting (more to come). After completing the instruction on CD, a student may apply at SEE for a credit by examination. The CDs are available on the Diploma High School website, visit us at Diploma High School for more information!
